FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What kinds of results can I expect?

You can expect exactly the same thing I would; a professional with the right combination of passion, experience, expertise, and attention to detail who will bring the same care and caring to your project as I would to my own. I stand behind my work, and want you to be 100% satisfied.

Do you do all the work yourself, or do you outsource projects?

I do all the work myself.

Why are your rates not on your website?

It depends on what you need. Every project is different and they are all custom work. If you have a project you think I could help with, I would be happy to discuss my rates with you. Please know that you are never under any pressure or obligation, and I respect your privacy and information absolutely.

What do your fees include?

My fees include all of the work that we negotiate in advance and include revisions stated therein as long as the scope of the project remains the same. Any changes to the project will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

How do I go about hiring you? Do I have to sign a contract? Do you ask for money up front?

Initial contact is best done by email and we will discuss your project. Once we agree to work on a project, I am happy to use whatever is easiest: phone, email, etc. I will provide a written agreement documenting the scope of the project and agreeing to all the terms. Once all that is in place, I require a deposit of 50% in advance to the project.

Do you work on retainer?

I do work on retainer, but can only consider a retainer arrangement with a select few clients at any given time. Deadlines are as important to me as they are to you so the time demands imposed by a retainer are a major consideration. I recommend a trial project or two before considering a retainer arrangement.

I need it faster… Is there a charge for “rush” jobs?

Yes, schedule permitting. You want the absolute best copy for your money and I want to provide it. When you compress the creative cycle the results can suffer. So a 20% surcharge for all rush jobs applies to discourage you from shooting your copy in the foot and lowering your marketing campaign’s success rate.
